No wine but, the food is mighty fine.
Tiny, local, not fancy, delicious!!!
Call ahead, they were always quick
This place is amazing. When I think about New Mexican food this place is it. From the salsa with fresh green chili and tomatoes to the tacos. This place is the best.
It’s small, but the food its good, good service, everybody smiling, they have a parking right in front of the restaurant!Inside its about ~8 tables.Mexican food, also they serve american food, menu not big, but I don’t think you need a big menu for such a small restaurant!i order the beef fajitas. will stop by again
Very good food and prices. Can park a truck on the main road, right in front
Great meal. Wonderful people. Fantastic value. We had quesadilla plate with guacamole and “make my own” dish of 2 cheese enchiladas, a chile relleno, beans and rice.
Good food & service. Very reasonable prices. Going back for breakfast!
So glad to have found this place. Delicious Mexican food. Oh my, the guac is so tasty as well as the salsa and burritos. Bit sad they will be closed on my next trip through. They are closed Sun and Mon. A must stop place.
Delicious mexican food. Ordered the combination with tamale with red chile....mmmmmm. so delicioso!!
Omg!!! What can I say. Just, the food is authentic as it really gets. I just that good. Keep doing what y'all are doing. I really recommend this place to eat. 👍👍👍
A good little restaurant with only 7 tables. Homemade chips & accompanying salsa had just the right amount of heat. The enchiladas were good made the New Mexico way not rolled. Choice of red or green sauce. Could get onions added to the top of the enchiladas. Everyone was friendly. Seems to be a place where the locals like to eat. Would definitely eat here again if in Lordsburg.
We tried to go at 7pm on Friday and it looked closed--completely dark inside and no cars outside.
I stopped here for dinner while spending the night in Lordsburg. This place only has 7 tables but it had great food! I especially recommend the tacos. They were very tasty!
When you are on the road, you eat where the locals eat. This place has it. It was clean. The service was great. And the food was outstanding.
Good food and good service the red enchilada is good :)
This little gem in Lordsburg, NM is awesome! We loved the food, great green chili burrito and tamales were amazing!
I walked in and I was the only customer there so wasn't sure. Glad I stayed, I had combo 1 and it was excellent! 5 minutes after I placed my order people started coming in and soon the place was packed and people were waiting for tables to open up. Great little hole in the wall, off the beaten path.
Wow best Mexican restaurant in town. Everything is fresh homemade and prices are amazing for the amount of food you get. A+
Worth a stop. We had the combo plate #2 and it was enough for both of us. Chile relleno was my favorite part of it, the tamale was also good and, as you'll see others say, the enchilada was also nice... But what I really loved was the salsa. It was clearly made in-house and I am glad we ordered it!
Basically no vegan or vegetarian options since the beans have meat in them. Still ordered the veggie enchiladas anyway but they brought out tacos. Service was slow which you expect in rural New Mexico.. I'd give them another shot if they brought on some beans without meat. Salsa was great.
Not the worst food in Lordsburg but a close second behind Kranberries. Their taco meat is a dried out half of a hamburger patty. Then there is the fact you can see the kitchen from the small dinning area and you see the cook touching everything including her hair and nose then touch the food. We will not go back. They did get two stars because the waitstaff is so friendly, too bad the food was not better.
What a place. Small but awesome food. Fast and great service too.
Good food. Small place. But if you are looking for more of a local cafe type atmosphere, it's perfect.
Stop and get some great food made by great people in a genuine local restaurant.
Great service, awesome food and friendly people
Muy Bueno! Food, service, price all great.
We ate here in Mexico because we didn't want to drive the hour to the other cities that were an hour away for other food choices. We decided to stop because of the reviews. I order the burrito combo that consists of 2 burritos with a side of rice and beans for like $8. My mom order the taco meal that consisted of 3 tacos with rice and beans. My meal was good nothing spectacular about it. I would say it was more Americanized than mexican but edible. My mom meal was different. Instead of the small pieces of ground beef that tacos usually have they had her a ground beef patty which is different. Our server was really nice and helpful to us during our visit. They do not serve queso, cilantro, carne asada or none of the other meats. Also, we tried the tamale which wasn't good and want flavorful. The can tamales tasted better than these.
Excellent place. The food is very delicious, and the service good
Great food. Great people. Friendly service. Authentic. Alot of food for the money. Make time to eat here.
Tasty taco plate. Love the green sauce! Waitstaff great
We stopped in our travels for breakfast based on the reviews we read and they did not disappoint. The service and food were both awesome and delish. Would recommend to stop in.
In the past, we've enjoyed Ramona's when driving through on I-10. Tonight we went out of our way, through the town. We pulled up at 7:45 and people coming out said they just locked the doors. We went up to the doors and a young guy working there opened the door and said they were closed. We asked what time they close and he said at 8. We quizzed him then why is the door locked over 10 min early. He shrugged, smiled, and said "We're closed."That's so frustrating.
Accidentally found Ramonas Cafe today on our way from white sands to chiricahua. Everything was fabulous. The best tamale, rice & guacamole we've ever had. The people couldn't have been nicer & the prices were too low. Highly recommend!
Best green enchiladas ever!!! Driving thru New Mexico to San Diego. Made a U turn because we missed the exit. Small place. Excellent serve. We will need to drive into town. Off interstate 10.
This is the cutest place. The staff is super friendly. The food was great! I got the burritos and my friend got the enchiladas.. so yummy We had been driving for hours and this was the perfect place to stop. Much better than any diners in the area!
Yes I love these little places...found it while on the way to dennys!!! Support small businesses. Quick homemade and delicious. Nom nom nom
The people are just so nice and the food is delicious! We stopped on our road trip here for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint!
Fantastic breakfast. Green Chile breakfast option! Delicious.
This was our first visit. Seating area has about 6 tables with a 7th being used by staff. Decor was interesting but definitely not posh. However, the food was superb! I had combo 2 and loved every bite. Only regret was that they were out of avacado. Staff is friendly. They are easy to find, just look for the parked cars. Surrounded by businesses that are closed.
Busy place, great food, great prices, wonderful staff. The food here never disappoints!
Wonderful food and service.
Who would have thought this place in the middle of nowhere on I-10 could serve up some great food. The gently fried tortillas on the chicken tacos were fantastic. A clean kitchen and a friendly staff make this place a good pit stop to fill your belly for the rest of the drive.
Really good authentic Mexican food! Get the taco combos!
I'm a trucker so I'm always looking for good places to eat. This is somewhat of a hole in the wall. Don't let the looks fool you. The food was good and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.
We stopped here on out way to El Paso, and what a treat! Don't let the area or outside fool you, this little gem is amazing! Between the 3 of us we had many of the options available and were not disappointed. Burrito, tamales, enchilada, tacos, and chili relleno were all great! The green sauce was amazing, as was the salsa with the chips. We will definitely be back!!
This restaurant never let's me down !! Awesome food !! I always have the shredded beef chiminchiga with Red chili on Top !!
Very cozy Cafe. Great customer service, exceptionally affordable prices. Good food, home cooked style. Everything seemed freshly made and not frozen or greasy.
The food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the portions were a good size
Very authentic. Spanish omelet was delicious. Waitress brought us nachos salsa was awesome.
We were traveling through Lordsburg and happened upon this wonderful restaurant. The food was excellent and priced very reasonably. The staff was very personable and attentive. Definitely a stop for us when we travel through next time!
I have yet to find better Mexican food anywhere in the Lower 48. Outstanding!! My sinuses were immediately cleared the proper way!! A+++++
Originally stopped at Denny's where we were practically ingored, so we left....down the road saw this small place. Stopped, could smell the food in the air. As soon as we walk in, we are greeted, hot cup of coffee brought to us within seconds of sitting. Stay was extremely freindly, a lively bunch. Coffee was brought out to be refilled through the entire visit. Food was perfect. Got pancakes, fresh made from scratch, sausage and eggs, just perfect. So don't go to Denny's when you can pay less and get so much more at Romona's!
